After visiting Western Sichuan multiple times, I always discover something new, but this time, there's a place that I just can't get enough of—Cuopugou! 🏞 This place is simply the epitome of Western Sichuan's scenery, with majestic snow-capped mountains, mirror-like lakes, blooming wildflowers, and herds of cattle and sheep. Every scene is captivating and makes you want to stay forever. 📍Destination: Batang Cuopugou Cuopugou, hidden on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway 318, is a stunning secret paradise. It is located between Litang and Batang, with a vast scenic area that includes snow-capped mountains, lakes, primeval forests, streams, canyons, and quaint temples, truly a microcosm of Western Sichuan's landscape! 🚗Self-driving guide: Depart from Chengdu and head west along National Highway 318, passing through Xinduqiao and Litang to reach Cuopugou. The road conditions are good throughout, and even a sedan can handle the drive with ease. 🎫Ticket information: Only 190 yuan per person, including the cost of a scenic area bus and electric car, which is a great value for money! 👭Scenic spot highlights: 1⃣Cuopu Lake: Take the shuttle bus directly to the end, and a vast lake comes into view. The water is clear to the bottom, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and dense forests. Wildflowers bloom by the lake, like a natural painting. Sitting by the lake, you can fully enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature. 2⃣Cuopu Temple: Take an electric car to the temple and feel the quietness away from the hustle and bustle. The temple is located at the end of the valley, at the foot of the snow mountain, full of mystery and solemnity. 3⃣Kangzhula Lake & Zhimayong Lake: These two lakes are simply my favorites! The emerald green water is as clear as glass, with fish swimming in it. Standing by the lake, it's like being in a fairyland. The photo opportunities are also stunning, highly recommended! 4⃣Lake Loop Plank Road: This plank road is less crowded and offers beautiful scenery. Walking along the lake, you can enjoy the distant snow-capped mountains and lakes of different colors. If you have enough time, why not take a walk and feel the close contact with nature.
