Yanshuihu West Mountain Trail, my treasure trove of stunning autumn scenery.

There's a place in Beijing that makes me fall in love with autumn, and that's the Yanshuihu West Mountain Trail in Huairou. The autumn here is simply beautiful! The golden maple leaves are like little fans, and the fiery red Chinese hackberry leaves are like flames. Together with the azure lake water, it's like a painting. And you don't have to fight with others for space, you can enjoy this natural masterpiece all by yourself. Remember, the Yanshuihu West Mountain Trail is closed from November 1st to March of the following year, and there are only 19 days left! If you miss it, you'll have to wait another year! So, hurry up and take a look. Let me tell you, getting there is very convenient. Just drive yourself and head straight to the Yanshuihu West Mountain Trail parking lot. There's no entrance fee or reservation required. Opening hours are before November 1st, Monday to Sunday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, please note that entry is not allowed after 4:00 pm, and the area is cleared at 5:00 pm. I think the timing of your visit is also important. It's best to arrive before 10:00 am, as there are fewer people and more parking spaces. I went there once in the morning, and it felt like I had the whole place to myself. After noon, the light is fantastic, and the warm sunshine feels great on your skin. This is also the time when the plants are most brightly lit, making them perfect for photos. But remember, you have to head back before 4:00 pm, or you'll get stuck in traffic. There are also some things to know about walking the trail. From exit 872 to exit 3, there is a wooden plank walkway, which is not tiring to climb, but not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Also, dogs and cats are not allowed here, so you can't walk your furry friend. The trail is 8 kilometers long, so don't forget to take a photo of the map at the entrance of the scenic area. If you want a leisurely stroll, just walk to exit 3, which is a good place for sightseeing. From there, you can see Yanshuihu Lake, the golf course, and the Yanshuihu Conference Center, which are all beautiful. The two large observation decks, "Listening to the Geese Return" and "Emerald Fragrance Gathering," are also worth checking out. Standing on them, with the wind blowing, feels amazing. Here are some more tips for you. As the weather gets cooler, remember to bring a light jacket so you don't get cold. Also, bring some food and drinks to replenish your energy. If you have a telephoto lens, bring it along. A selfie stick is also very useful. I went there on October 20th last year and took some beautiful photos. Walking on this trail, listening to the sound of falling leaves and watching the ripples on the lake, my heart felt so peaceful. The beauty of autumn is truly everywhere.
