Skiing on Lunar New Year and enjoying Wang Galbitang and Makguksu!

I visited Dongine Makguksu located in Bongpyeong, Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do. This place is famous for its buckwheat dishes, and the traditional thatched-roof building and spacious, cozy interior were impressive. The most famous menu items are Bibim Makguksu and Mul Makguksu. I chose Mul Makguksu. Since Wang Galbitang is also considered a delicacy, I ordered it as well. The deep and rich broth was really good. A bowl of Galbitang that pairs well with Makguksu made for a hearty meal.
