Budapest: Jewel of the Danube

It’s been about 10 years since I was last in Budapest. I was finally able to visit again in December last year and I will be visiting again in March this year. I’d really forgotten just how beautiful Budapest is! Of course the icon of the city is the incredible Parliament building which is definitely a must to visit. Also make sure you check out the Chainbridge which connects the hilly Buda district with a flatter Pest district and of course no tripto Budapest would be complete without visiting the Fisherman’s Bastian. While in Budapest make sure that you save a few hours to visit one of the amazing thermal baths some of them dating as far back to the Ottoman period in the 1500s! #getgoing2025 #budapest #hungary #thermalbath
