During the National Day holiday, Hemu Village was packed with people. The center of the village was almost entirely made up of homestays and restaurants. The music from each place was lively, but it also made Hemu lose its original charm. To better experience the beauty of Hemu, we chose to focus on horse riding to Meilifeng Village (≤320). We were very glad we made this choice! The scenery along the way was very beautiful, with a wide view. We rode towards the mountains, accompanied by fir trees, meadows, and sunshine. We might even encounter wild animals. We were lucky enough to see a fox. In front of Meilifeng Village is a large meadow with herds of cattle and horses. It was quiet with few people. You can stay for a while. Highly recommended. Time: Generally, you will arrive at Hemu Scenic Area around noon. It is recommended to go horse riding in the afternoon to evening. The round trip horse riding takes about 3 hours. We also took aerial photos of horse riding ($299X lightning protection). We returned at 7pm, just in time to go to the sunset viewing platform to watch the sunset. Note: It is very sunny on sunny days, and the dust is very large. It can be said that the dust is flying. Masks are essential! Long socks are essential! Hats are essential! Glasses or sunglasses are essential! I personally think gloves are not very useful. There are masks and gloves for sale at the ticket office. Gloves are 10 yuan, and masks seem to be 5 yuan. It is recommended to bring your own. You can wear high-top shoes, because some foot pedals are easy to fall off and rub your ankles. Accommodation: The exterior of the wooden houses in Hemu Old Village is dilapidated, and many are deliberately made old. We feel that the experience is much better than that of the wooden houses in Kanas. First of all, there are no mice, and the sound insulation is very good.
