The literary Cambridge, the local Cambridge Market

Cambridge University is a university without walls, nestled among its colleges are numerous cafes, bookstores, and creative boutiques, brimming with the hustle and bustle of life, especially the Cambridge Market (Cambridge Market) in the open square, which is very lively—here, there's even a Chinese jianbing guozi (crepe) stall! Cambridge Market is located in an open square, not very large in size, with various stalls set up in the open air, closely packed together, surrounded by dormitory areas and various shops, and next to it stands the Great St Mary's Church and Cambridge Town Hall, both built in 1205. In the middle of the market, there is also a Gothic-style fountain pool ruin—the fountain was built in the 19th century and was unfortunately destroyed, leaving only part of its base. The stall that attracts Chinese tourists the most is naturally the jianbing guozi stall, run by a Chinese couple who also sell hot dry noodles. Students from Cambridge University, local residents, and tourists coming and going shuttle back and forth here, enjoying their food to the fullest, creating a bustling atmosphere. The area around the market is also lively, with an uncle playing the violin on a tightrope in mid-air, and young people busking with guitars, all showcasing their talents, while the onlookers applaud and cheer from time to time, bringing a fresh and lively vibe to this artistic university town.
