The local bowl-firing "kiln" is preserved‼️ 👍️ Must-visit spots: ✔️ The ancient village built on the hillside, 🔰 the mountain road is in its original state, all paved with local round pebbles, quite antique. ⏫ The mountain road is rugged, but the signs are clear, accessible everywhere, mainly consisting of ancient residences from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, handmade ceramics, and the three-tiered waterfall. ✔️ On the way to Wanyao Village, you will encounter some records on how ceramics should be made, ▶️ as well as some exhibition halls, ↙️ and some souvenirs such as ocarinas, porcelain cups, glassware, etc. There is a beacon kiln on the top of the mountain, 🔼 and a terraced kiln, but bowls are no longer fired here. ✔️ The ancient dragon kiln is the treasure of the village, built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, 👍 the kiln is 40 meters long, with 14 pillars, 13 rooms, and 12 layers, and it was extinguished in 1996. ⏫ The inverted flame kiln is the landmark building of Wanyao Village, 13.8 meters high, with a cylindrical kiln body. ✔️ The octagonal building was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, with a through-beam structure, ↙️ the upper floor is a loft, with a post station studio, 🔼 where you can come to write calligraphy and make various ceramic artworks.
