These historical sites bear witness to the turbulent and humiliating history of Northeast China in the last century. These institutions were built in 1936, each with a unique architectural style, incorporating various Western architectural styles. After Japan's surrender in 1945, these buildings still exist. Except for the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Agriculture, which were demolished and rebuilt as the Affiliated Middle School and Affiliated Elementary School of Northeast Normal University, the rest are national and municipal key cultural relics protection units but are still used by different institutions.
