Suzhou's 39th Garden: Fangta Garden Fangta Garden is a classical garden built on the site of a Song Dynasty relic, named after the square tower in the garden. The garden has three treasures: the square tower, a Song Dynasty ancient well, and an ancient ginkgo tree. The full name of the square tower is Chongjiao Xingfu Temple Tower. It has four sides and nine stories, and was first built in the Southern Song Dynasty. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit. Fangta Garden has the charm of a royal garden and the variety of a Jiangnan garden. The couplet on the stone archway reads: "The tower is named after the square, and the water of the sky is the foundation of a thousand tribulations. The garden can reflect the new expansion of the forest, and ten thousand people come."
