Red Plum Park at Night

Red Plum Park is located at No. 28 Danqing Road, Tianning District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is adjacent to the famous Tianning Temple and Dongpo Park, which is just a hundred meters away. This park combines scenic spots with natural landscapes, embodying the characteristics of a Jiangnan garden. Its predecessor includes the Tianning Forest Garden and Taiping Temple Forest Garden, both with a long history of over 1500 years. The park is named after the ancient building Hongmei Pavilion within it. The famous poet Zhao Yi from the Qing Dynasty once praised the beauty of Hongmei Pavilion: "Seeking spring outside the city at the home of an immortal, a single red plum tree shines like the morning glow. Before the woodcutter leaves for the fairyland, he first sweeps the fallen flowers on the jade terrace. The park features many memorial sites such as Wenbi Tower, Hongmei Pavilion, Banshan Pavilion, Jiasha Tower, Bingmei Stone, Jiaxian Archway, Taying Mountain House, and Tudi Dao Root Art Museum. The park's terrain is undulating, characteristic of a water town, and it is divided into eight scenic areas: Wenbi Sunset, Hongmei Spring Dawn, Qu Pond Lotus Breeze, Green Mountain Reflection, Cuiwei Autumn Glow, Forest Garden Bell, Snow Mountain Pine, and Wu Style Legacy.
