Changzhou/Tianningsi Temple A Zen temple with a history of 1300 years!

Tianningsi Temple in Changzhou is an ancient temple with a history of over 1300 years. It is a key protected temple in China and a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province. The temple was originally built during the Tang Dynasty, and its founder was Master Farong. The temple complex includes eight halls, twenty-five pavilions, twenty-four towers, three chambers, and two pavilions, totaling 497 rooms. Tianningsi Temple is surrounded by forests and is known both domestically and internationally for its large scale, the height of its buildings, and the number of monks residing there.
