The destination of this self-driving trip is Chengde Mountain Resort. Chengde Mountain Resort, also known as Chengde Palace and Rehe Palace, was a place where emperors of the Qing Dynasty spent summer vacations and handled government affairs. It is located in the north of Chengde City, Hebei Province. The scenic area covers an area of 564 Covering an area of 10,000 square meters, it was first built in 1703 and took 89 years to be completed in 1792 during the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong dynasties. It is the largest existing royal garden in the world. Chengde Summer Resort is divided into two parts: the palace area and the garden scenic area. The garden scenic area is divided into three scenic areas: lake area, plains and mountains.
