Huahua Creek Park in the early morning

Huahua Creek, also known as Baihua Pond, is the upper section of the South River in Chengdu, flowing through Du Fu Thatched Cottage. Huahua Creek Park covers an area of more than 30 hectares, organically combining natural landscapes and urban landscapes, classical gardens and modern architectural art, folk spaces and contemporary atmosphere. The park is also famous for the poem by the poet Du Fu, 'At the west end of Huahua Creek, the host seeks a secluded forest pond.' The park is very quiet in the early morning, with most early risers exercising.
