Chengdu | What is it like to take a vacation in your own city?

Most people have heard the song "Chengdu" I suddenly had the idea to take a micro trip in the city No itinerary or plan I didn't even pack my luggage before setting off A spontaneous trip in Chengdu 😆 - We always look to the future And ignore the familiar city around us This time I want to change my perspective and rediscover "Chengdu" I chose the Shangri-La Hotel, an old hotel on the Jinjiang River 🏨 Because the location is really great It's only a few dozen meters away from the Anshun Lang Bridge, a landmark of Chengdu 📍 - 🛏️ I stayed in a Horizon Club room, which was very convenient. I checked in on the 35th floor, so I didn't have to wait in line at the front desk on the 2nd floor! In the room, I was greeted by a cute panda tea break, a photo frame with my picture, and a handwritten card. I was really touched by the thoughtfulness ♥️ When I opened the floor-to-ceiling windows, I could see the beautiful scenery of Chengdu, especially the night view of the Jinjiang River, which was as beautiful as a painting 🌃 - 🍽️ I had a buffet dinner at the Cafe Z, which had almost all the dishes from around the 🌍 world, and even a hot pot. The cakes were delicious and unforgettable 😋 - 👀 At night, I enjoyed the night view of the Lang Bridge from the lobby lounge and looked back at Chengdu from the Lang Bridge.
