The first ASEAN city to be awarded the prestigious "Green Destination Award"

🎉Congratulations to Qingkang (Qingkan)! This artistic town located in Loei Province, Thailand, adjacent to the Mekong River, has won the "Green Destination Silver Award." 📍According to the Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria (GSTC), the Green Destination Award requires member destinations to meet 84 criteria. Since 2019, Qingkang has been striving to become a model destination for sustainable tourism development. In the preliminary assessment, Qingkan successfully completed 30 minimum requirements and was listed in the "Green Destination TOP 100 Stories" in 2020. 📍This year's Green Destination Silver Award means that Qingkang has successfully completed additional award requirements during the comprehensive certification process, achieving full compliance. 📍To date, there are 122 Green Destinations worldwide, and the award is valid for two years.
