Chiang Mai Royal Park Rajapruek

📍Royal Park Rajapruek, Chiang Mai, Thailand Royal Park Rajapruek is a wonderful place to visit, especially for families. Usually, there is an admission fee of 200 baht, but I visited during a free-entry period, which made it even better! Parking is free after getting your ticket stamped. Tram rides are included, making it easy to explore the vast grounds. Bicycles are available for rent, though there are no child seats, so families with young kids might prefer the tram. The park offers lots of space for walking, running, and learning—a great spot for kids to play and burn off energy. The main highlight is the Royal Pavilion, exhibitions on King Rama IX’s expertise in agriculture—a tribute to his legacy and a symbol of the heart of the Thai people. If you visit during sunset, it is said to have a stunning view from the pavilion’s windows. You can hop off the tram at various points of interest. There’s also a Royal Project restaurant and a coffee shop near the entrance for refreshments.
