November to May is the coolest and most comfortable season in Chiang Mai, making it the perfect time for an outdoor hiking trip to experience the wild. ✅ Doi Inthanon, the highest peak in Thailand, is the first choice for a light hiking trip. Here, you can find forests, grasslands, terraces, and waterfalls, as well as the most beautiful panoramic views. - Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail is one of the hiking routes in Doi Inthanon National Park. It winds through the primeval forest for about 3.2 km, passing by giant rhododendrons, waterfalls, and streams. It takes 2–4 hours to complete and is a must-visit hiking route for nature lovers. The entire route is divided into 3 stages, with a total of 21 stations. 👇 · 🔸 Stage 1 (Stations 1–6): A dense cloud forest trail covered with moss and ferns. You can hike slowly and enjoy the fresh oxygen in the cold, thin air. The trees are tall but not dense, and they look particularly eerie when the clouds hit the mountains and soak the entire forest with high humidity. · 🔸 Stage 2 (Stations 7–14): Stroll through the scenic open grasslands, where the bright sunshine is warmer than walking in the forest.
