Pay homage to the twin great relics of the Lord Buddha on Doi Inthanon

Phra Mahathat Naphaphonphumisiri is 12-sided. The stupa is decorated with purple-pink glass mosaics. The top of the stupa is a spire surrounded by lotus bud petals and decorated with gold glass mosaics. Inside is enshrined the relics of the Lord Buddha, protected by a 9-tiered silver umbrella.
