Longshuixia Rift – Thrilling and Shocking

Longshuixia Rift, located in Xiannvshan Town, Wulong District, Chongqing City, is part of the Wulong Karst tourism area, formed millions of years ago by orogenic movements, a typical karst landscape. The canyon is 5 kilometers long, with a depth of 200-500 meters. The high mountains, steep ridges, canyons, and flowing waters in the scenic area together create a perfect landscape painting. Viewing the Milky Way Waterfall – The Milky Way Waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall in the Longshuixia Rift. It falls straight down from a hundred-meter-high cliff, like a huge silver curtain, a miniature version of the 'Milky Way falling to the ninth heaven'. The waterfall has a height difference of 80 meters and is generally 2-3 meters wide, in summer when the water is sufficient, the width can reach 6-8 meters, the waterfall hitting the large rocks produces a deafening sound, listening to the majestic momentum of the water, feeling the coolness of the valley, it is definitely an ideal summer retreat. In other seasons, the water flows continuously, just in a smaller amount. Looking up at the sky from the bottom of the valley – 'A line of sky light' is another important landscape in the Longshuixia Rift. Looking down from the top of the valley, the mist below is heavy and unfathomable, like a deep crack on the earth, hence the name Longshuixia Rift. Below the plank road is the valley bottom, with crisscrossing holes and jumbled rocks, and the trickling stream flows between the cracks, making a light rustling sound. The maximum vertical drop from the valley bottom to the top is 260 meters, with the narrowest point being only one meter, the canyon is deep and secluded, looking up, the light forms a line, and the rest is dark and deep, quite shocking! 'Time Tunnel' – Part of the Time Tunnel, locally known as 'Firecracker Cave', was formerly a mountain cave workshop where locals made firecrackers. Passing through the long tunnel is like crossing the mysterious time and space.
