Osmeña Peak is famous for being the highest point on Cebu Island and it is considered one of the best adventures to be had in the South Cebu here in Philippines. The best time to visit is early in the morning for sunrise, and this way you will beat the crowds. Trekking Osmena Peak Cebu is not as hard as you think. Whether you’re an advanced hiker or just a beginner, an Osmena Peak hike won’t tire you out. Usually, it takes only about 20 to 25 minutes to hike. HOW TO GET THERE! Location: Brgy. Mantalungon, Dalaguete, Southern Cebu — approximately -3 hours away from Cebu City. BUS: From the South Bus Terminal in Cebu City, ride a bus bound to Oslob or Bato. Fare is around ₱200. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at Dalaguete junction. Travel time on average is 2.5 – 3 hours. As you arrive at the Dalaguete junction, there are several motorcycle-for-hire or “habal-habal” going to the jump-off point, hire one. Fare is around P120. Travel time is 45 minutes to 1 hour. Arriving at the drop-off point going to the peak, follow the stone path leading to the registration office/information desk. You need to pay the entrance fee before starting your hiking adventure.
