Fall season at the biggest temple in Korea, Guinsa Temple

#koreatrip Its lovely autumn season again, and its time to view the nice autumn leaves. This time, we visited the Guinsa Temple located at Danyang. The transport is so convenient that we are able to take the direct bus all the eay from Seoul to the temple. It is the headquarter of the Cheontae Sect of Korean Buddhism. Although this temple is fairly new, built in 1945, the history of the sect can be traced back 1500 years ago, established during Master Yeongwang in the Silla dynasty. Today, this temple has more than 140 sub temples and up to 10000 monks live here at one point. Every day there will be offerings and rituals done after lunch and worshippers can pray at the main temple. The autumn vibes here is also splendid as you see much of maple leaves turned rad and orange, making the scenery even better.
