Xieqing Temple - Pilgrimage to the Hundred Ancient Temples Series One

Xieqing Temple (Xueqian Temple), one of the six ancestral temples of the Nyingma Sect, is located in the northeast of Dege County, Sichuan Province, about two hundred kilometers away from Dege County. The east of Xieqing Temple is the God Mountain of Dapeng Golden Winged Bird, the west is the Green Tara God Mountain, the south is the 21 Tara God Mountain, and the north is the Vajra Pestle God Mountain. In 1695, the fifth Dalai Lama appointed Ranjiang Living Buddha to establish a Nyingma temple in Kang District. When he arrived in Kang District, Guru Rinpoche manifested and instructed him to build a temple near a white rock that looked like a leaping lion. Therefore, Ranjiang Living Buddha established the predecessor of Xueqian Temple - Wujin Quzhong on Ganglong Mountain in 1698, taught disciples, and promoted Buddhism. The second Ranjiang Living Buddha then established Xieqing Xianmi Xingshengzhou Temple in 1735, and became one of the practice grounds of the Nyingma Sect. The Five Ming Buddhist College in the temple has a history of more than 280 years. There are currently more than 200 monks studying here. The main teachings are the Nyingma teachings. Because Mipham Rinpoche once practiced in this temple, Xieqing Temple has its pure Dharma lineage. Therefore, the Buddhist Ming particularly emphasizes the promotion of Mipham Rinpoche's teachings. Since the 20th century, Xieqing Temple has cultivated many great masters, including Xueqian Jiacha, Xueqian Kangchu, Dingguo Qin Zhe Rinpoche, Qiu Yang Chuangba, and many other important masters in the world, who have received Dharma teachings here or stayed here. By coincidence, this August I spent my 60th birthday at Xieqing Temple, and was lucky enough to meet Angzhu Rinpoche, Danzeng Rinpoche and Cicheng Dorje Rinpoche. I was filled with Dharma joy!
