Like other European countries, spring and autumn are the best seasons to travel to Ireland. During my one year of staying here, I was fortunate to experience all four seasons in this country. Autumn is short but incredibly beautiful. Ireland is a green country, so you can imagine how stunning it is when all the trees turn yellow and red during the autumn. I still remember one day when the trees were green, and just after one night, my entire university had transformed completely. My first, and of course biased, autumn spot in Ireland is my university—University College Dublin, Smurfit Graduate Business School in Blackrock. Trust me, it is absolutely stunning. Getting There - For a capital city, Dublin is very walkable. Most of the attractions are located in the inner city center within walking distance from each other. If you don’t fancy the walk, there’s many Dublin buses that will take you to wherever you want to go. 🚎A good starting point is O’Connell Bridge. From here you can venture into the hustle and bustle of the North side and later explore the more upscale South side. 📸 Attractions - Check out the temple bar area for some cool vibes. There are many bars and restaurants 🍻(a little bit overpriced) and the overall vibe is incredible. There’s a real Irish feeling here. One pub I really like is O’Neills on Suffolk Street. 👌 Hotels - Looking for a place to stay? 🏨 Check out the Paramount hotel in Temple Bar. It’s central and the price was reasonable for Dublin when I stayed. Restaurants - One of my favorite places to eat in Dublin is Captain Americas. 🇺🇸You’ll find it at the top of Grafton Street. You won’t get your authentic Irish experience but the food is really good! 🍔 Shopping - Henry Street on the North Side and Grafton Street on the South Side are line with all the major high street brands!🛍️ If you’re looking for a mall head to the Jervos Street shopping center. Holyhead to Dublin Ferry 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇮🇪

I took the Stena Adventurer ferry to Dublin from Holyhead which takes around 3hours 15 mins and has up to 4 sailings each day with Irish Ferries also operating this route . Holyhead port is located in Anglesey north Wales and is conveniently situated at the end of the A55 carriageway , the port also has a large duty free shop and short and long stay parking . I’ve travelled this route a few times and this crossing even tho a bit choppy was beautiful with blue sky and an amazing sunset . With the Stena Adventurer and Stena Estrid ferries both on this route they have great facilities for such a short crossing , with bars ,restaurants , duty free shopping , arcade and quiet areas to sit and relax . I would also recommend Stena plus a private lounge for passengers for a small extra charge with comfortable seating , complimentary refreshments and snacks , newspapers and magazines and a dedicated waiter service . As a foot passenger I waited to disembark the ferry when we arrived in Dublin and outside the terminal building a bus was waiting to take passengers to the City centre which was very convenient and only €3 as the Stena Line terminal is about 4 miles east of Dublin City centre , the terminal also has short and long term parking as well as a passenger lounge , baby changing facilities free Wi-Fi , disability assistance/ toilets , vending machines and a drop off area . The port also has extensive signage to all main roads including the M50 toll road .

Beautiful Dublin with room for Guiness

We spent 2 days in Dublin and had the best time, what a lovely city and also the people. You should really try out going there, in my opinion the most interesting and liveable city in Ireland + the whole UK! First day we went sightseeing and went to the National Museum, as well as local shops where you can buy all kind of selfmade products. Dublin - Guinness Storehouse

Quite a nice experience into Dublin centre and visiting the Guinness Storehouse. The place is really popular that there are lots of tourists coming from different countries. It was a self-guided tour that I walked around and got to know different processes in beer making. There’s a tasting room where you get to smell different types of beer and a free tasting of the original Guinness beer.

Must-do attraction in Dublin

if you’re going to Dublin you absolutely cannot miss the Guinness Storehouse tour. Obviously Dublin is the home of the love it or hate it drink but whichever team you’re on, the storehouse is a great experience. Lots of history to see and you do of course get to sample a pint at the end of your tour. When I visited there was also an opportunity to have your selfie printed onto the foam of the pint which was a really novel idea!#dublin

Howth - an essential day trip

Ireland is full of superb landscapes that make it very clear why its nickname: Emerald Isle. But, if your trip is limited to Dublin, you might think that much-hyped green color is missing. Nothing is further from reality. In addition to the capital's parks, you shouldn't miss out on visiting the small fishing village – well, increasingly more touristy and residential and less fishing – of Howth. A getaway of a few hours that will reconcile you with your idea of ​​the Irish green and almost an essential among the things to see in Dublin. Put on comfortable shoes and be prepared to do some walking. That was what we did with a nine-kilometre hiking trail –about three hours because the landscapes were well worth stopping constantly to photograph them– that took us from the station to the highest point on the peninsula and back. A good place to start our tour of Dublin is O'Connell Street, the widest street in the city. It is not particularly monumental, but it is picturesque and it is a very frequented point in the city, so it is worth walking its little more than 500 meters in which we will see the obelisk of the Monument of Light and the Central Post Office , place where the Republic of Ireland was proclaimed. Traditionally, neighborhoods north of the River Liffey have a reputation for being humbler and simpler than those to the south, so there isn't much to see around this avenue. Of course, we can always take a walk along the commercial Henry Street, which -without being as elegant as Grafton Street in the south- is the main commercial artery of this part of the city. #ireland #dublin

Went to the Museum of Literature Ireland two weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing, would recommend for all literature lovers as you'd learn a lot about Irish literature as well as some Edinburgh literature history as well!

Short trip to Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪

Studying in UK gave me the opportunity to travel lots and with some serendipity, I booked a cheap £20 flight to Dublin to experience the Republic of Ireland 😊 Murphy’s ice cream is a must go with amazing creamy ice cream 😋 Butler’s chocolate also has amazing chocolate and my fave was the Pistachio hot chocolate, a must try when you feel cold on a Winter’s day. 🥶 Marsh’s Library is also a huge sight seeing spot with antique ancient books of varying rarity. Affordable, stylish hotel in the city center

The Moxy Dublin is centrally located, so you'll be a few steps away from vital transport links and other attractions. It's a modern property and the staff are welcoming and warm. The lobby is a warm and open space where you can comfortably unwind and socialize; a very good concept that's in line with other Moxy's. The check in staff was absolutely lovely. He was welcoming, kind, accommodating and made sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. The rooms are basic but comfortable and modern. They are clean and quite spacious, which was very nice. Further, even though the hotel is located in the city center, it was surprisingly quiet, which is very important for me. Overall, an excellent stay with great staff. The hotel is extremely good value for money especially in an expensive city like Dublin. A stay at the Moxy would ensure you're in the heart of the city, making it extremely convenient.
