Easter Island

The mysterious site of the world—Easter Island ||| was discovered by Jacob Roggeveen in 1722, located in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, and is one of the most remote islands in the world, about 3600 kilometers from the mainland of Chile. There are more than 1000 megalithic statues on the island, with only about 5000 people living on the small island. The megaliths on the island are about 7-10 meters high, with the tallest being over 20 meters and weighing hundreds of tons. They are exquisitely carved and uniquely shaped. According to investigations, the carving time is estimated to be between 1100 and 1680 AD. In 1995, it was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Who made these statues? How were they made?
