Located in Edinburgh's New Town, 24 Royal Terrace Hotel is conveniently located at 24 Royal Terrace. It's just a 10-minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station, making it easy to get around. Nearby attractions such as Greenside Parish Church, Edinburgh Walks, and the Watchtower of New Calton Burial Ground are all within walking distance, making it an ideal choice for exploring Edinburgh. Upon arrival, I was immediately drawn to the unique boutique hotel decor and exterior. The interior of the hotel is uniquely styled, offering a 24-hour bar and a comfortable lounge area. There's also a tranquil garden, perfect for unwinding after a long journey. Check-in at the front desk was smooth, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. I stayed in a single room, which was small but cozy and clean, with a well-organized layout. The bed was very comfortable, and the window offered a view of the garden, making every morning delightful. The coffee in the room was particularly strong, among the best I've had! In addition to these, the room was well-equipped with amenities, including a safe and tea set, providing everything you might need. The hotel's breakfast was truly impressive, with a wide variety of options. For vegetarians like us, they specially prepared vegetarian meals, which felt very thoughtful ❤️. The surrounding dining options were also excellent, with dishes like the Queen's Coronation Chicken at Palm Court at The Balmoral, the filet steak at Number One, and the braised beef cheek at New Chapter Restaurant all worth trying. Enjoying a drink on the hotel's terrace in the evening was a great way to unwind after a day of exploration. There are many interesting attractions around the hotel, such as Mary King's Close and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Strolling along the Royal Mile is also a great choice, with many historic buildings and small shops to explore. Nearby restaurant recommendations include Gurkha Bar And Restaurant Edinburgh, Quinn's Cafe, and Mr Wood Fire, all offering authentic cuisine. Overall, 24 Royal Terrace Hotel is a great place to stay when visiting Edinburgh. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.
