Winters walk through Kirkyard

Located just a short walk from Grassmarket and the Meadows , Greyfriars Kirkyard is the resting place of the famous dog Bobby . The cemetery is not big , but on a nice day you can come and enjoy the castle views and find a little bit of serenity within the city. Amenities / Restaurants: At both entrances ,there is access to plenty of restaurants . Notably at the northern entrance is Greyfriars Bobby's bar for a quick pint after some ghost hunting . Greyfriars Kirkyard is a must visit on a trip to Edinburgh and should be experienced both during the day for the spectacular views and also at night for something a little bit more spooky. #spooktaculartrip
