Ticking skydiving off the bucket list!

#2023travelwish Skydiving is one of the activities on many thrill seekers' bucket list. We did in when we were in Portugal. You can do it in many other drop zones across Europe. Skydiving is available in a few places in Portugal. Our first choice is in Algarve, Faro because of the beautiful views of the beaches in southern Portugal. There are skydiving packages which include domestic flight from Lisbon to Algarve. So even though skydiving is not available in Lisbon we can also do it during our visit to Lisbon. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we had to cancel the skydiving trip on Algarve. Eventually we did it in Evora, a city in south-central Portugal, about 1.5 h train ride from Lisbon. We paid 199 euros each to skydive from the highest available height (about 4200 m) where we get to experience free fall for about 1 minute. You can of course pay extra (at least 60 euros) to add on photos and videos. Photos and videos are taken from the instructor's internal camera and from the external camera of another videographer skydiver.
