Huainan to Fuyang Weekend Trip: Encounter the Charm of Northern Anhui

On Saturday morning, I embarked on a high-speed train from Huainan to Fuyang, starting my journey of exploring cuisine and culture. Upon arriving in Fuyang, I went straight to the pre-booked Yunbo Manju Hotel, located in the city center at No. 99 Yingzhou South Road, Yingzhou District. It's only a 5-minute walk from Wanda Plaza, with complete amenities and convenient transportation, making it ideal for shopping, dining, and leisure. Strolling through the park, I was captivated by the colorful sea of flowers in full bloom, the diverse rare plants in the tropical botanical garden, and the ancient farming culture exhibition area. These sights gave me a deeper understanding of Fuyang's agricultural development and a true sense of the city's unique cultural charm. After a long walk, I started my food journey. Gelatiao is undoubtedly a representative of Fuyang cuisine. The noodles are thick and chewy, served with sesame sauce, bean sprouts, shredded cucumber, and other seasonings. After mixing them well, the noodles are smooth and chewy, with a rich sesame aroma filling my mouth. Every bite was incredibly satisfying. Then there's Zhentoumo, shaped like a pillow, with a crispy crust and soft interior, full of wheat flavor. Whether eaten directly or paired with various dishes, it has a unique taste. Juanmo is also not to be missed. Thin pancakes are rolled with gluten, bean sprouts, shredded kelp, and other ingredients, then brushed with a special sauce. One bite offers a rich and layered texture that's simply irresistible. In the evening, I arrived at Wanda Plaza, a bustling place where locals enjoy leisure and entertainment. I immersed myself in the lively atmosphere, experiencing the vibrancy of Fuyang, and the day's fatigue dissipated. This trip to Fuyang not only allowed me to taste authentic cuisine but also appreciate the unique cultural landscape, leaving a lasting impression. I look forward to my next visit.
