Climb Gushan

Gushan is located in the eastern suburbs of Fuzhou. It is said that there is a huge stone on the top of the mountain that looks like a drum. Whenever there is a storm, there is a sound of shaking, hence the name Gushan. There is a cable car to Gushan, and there are three hiking trails, namely the Brave Trail, the Millennium Ancient Trail, and the "Pine Love" Trail. Among them, the Millennium Ancient Trail is relatively flat, with wide steps and many hikers. It takes about 40 minutes for those with good foot strength to reach the observation deck halfway up the mountain and overlook most of Fuzhou City. Not far from the observation deck, next to the ring road, is the Gushan Eighteen Scenic Park. Along the way, the rocks and ravines are clear and quiet, the streams and birds are singing, and the cliff stone carvings on the mountains on both sides are either interesting or full of philosophy, which is amazing. A few hundred meters from the entrance of the Eighteen Scenic Park is the Xianghuai Plum Garden. Every time the cold comes to spring, the plum blossoms bloom all over the mountains, and the fragrance is fragrant. After leaving the Plum Garden, continue walking for about 1 km to the Millennium Ancient Temple Yongquan Temple. Yongquan Temple is located halfway up Gushan Mountain, facing Xianglu Peak and backed by Baiyun Peak. It was built in the Tang Dynasty. It is said that it was named after the Arhat Spring in front of the temple. The temple is ancient and quiet, and you can also taste vegetarian food, which is refreshing and desireless.
