I found that the original Huangdi Cave Scenic Area was renovated and renamed Rixi Canyon Waterfall, so I bought a ticket and visited it again. I went there early on the fifth day of the first lunar month, and there were not many people. It was all downhill along the way, and I finished the whole journey bravely. The mountain road is winding, recommended! • Navigate to [Xiaocang She Nationality Township] Xiaocang Wharf. The road is wide, but you need to take a ferry. The ferry is not available when the water level is low, not recommended. Bus • Go to [Fufei Road Shenzhi Road Intersection] and walk 30 meters to [Jinfeng Passenger Transport Center]. Take the intercity bus to Rixi Canyon Waterfall. There are two buses every day, departing at 08:30/12:30, and the ticket price is CNY 25 per person. Return buses depart at 10:00/14:00. [Guishan Entrance] 💰Tickets Scenic area ticket: charged, you can compare prices on different platforms (p3) Parking lot: free, on the flattened loess slope • I still prefer the entrance of the scenic area before renovation, which is convenient for parking and easy to find. 🗺️Route Guishan Entrance → Wenchang Pavilion → (Yibutengtian Glass Walkway) → Canglong Cave → Glass Bridge → Xiangbi Waterfall → Baizhang Cliff → Tianmen → Butterfly Valley → Xiaocang Wharf/Return the same way 🌟Tips • It is all downhill from Guishan Entrance, which is easy to walk. • If you drive with friends, you can enter from [Xiaocang] and [Guishan] entrances respectively, and exchange cars to exit from different entrances, so you don't have to go back. • The main scenic area is concentrated in the section from Guishan to Tianmen, and Canglong Cave is the core scenic area. • There are "best photo spots" in the scenic area, which is very considerate. • Canglong Cave: an artificial cave, where you can see the back of the waterfall, which is quite shocking. • From Tianmen to Butterfly Valley, there are few people along the stream, the road is slippery, and there are no scenic spots. If you are not physically strong, you can stop here. • You need to take a ferry to enter the scenic area from [Xiaocang] entrance. It is recommended to pay attention to the water level and official information to avoid a wasted trip. • Do what you can according to your physical strength, suitable for the elderly and children.
