Penang Cafes

Every Malaysian we spoke to about Penang told us to eat and drink in George Town - in fact, we learned that many locals in Penang eat five to six meals a day! So we spent two days hopping from one cafe to another. Below is a list of places we visited and what we ordered: Jing-Si Books & Cafe: really affordable and high quality teas in a zen environment Constant Gardener Cafe: fresh juices and nice coffees and ice cream desserts Mews Cafe: nice Peranakan dishes Mugshot Cafe: fun themed cafe with amazing salmon bagel sandwiches Potter’s Cafe: fresh squeezed juices, coffee/tea, and snacks (kaya toast and cinnamon toast) Cafe hopping is a must in George Town/Penang!
