#Songkran2024Travel One of the few options for a cafe that opens early in the morning, in a location not far from the center of Ghent, is Café Labath. If it's Monday-Friday, it opens from 8 am. The menu is simple café-style food, focusing on tea and coffee. The food is sandwiches, soups, and breads. 🏠 Location / Atmosphere The shop is located on the corner where Hoogstraat and Oude HoutLei intersect. It's clearly visible on the side of the road. The shop is made of open glass. Inside, there is a counter where food and drinks are prepared. You can sit and sip coffee, watch people pass by outside, or sit and watch the baristas work quickly and nimbly. It's quite enjoyable. ➡️ Short Black - It's the shop's house blend. It's okay to drink and enjoy. ➡️ Bread + Butter + Jam Set - Suitable for mornings when you're not very hungry. It comes with 2 slices of bread cut in half, butter and jam. ➡️ Soup - In fact, the soup is a lunch menu that changes depending on the day. And it was served with bread and butter. But on the day I went, even though I went early in the morning, I asked to order soup and the staff went to check it out. When they saw that it was ready, they let me order. We got Zucchini Soup, which had a perfectly balanced flavor.
