Impressive cathedral

#myhiddengems The Nevsky cathedral was part of our sightseeing for the day. It turned out to be the most impressive of stops. It is bigger than it looks. And has beautiful art on its walls. When the lights are turned on inside. The sight becomes even prettier. I wasn't able to take pictures inside as they required extra paying for pictures which wasn't nice to charge. Anyhow, so the security tends to be stiff with ensuring no one takes pics without paying. Anyhow, it's a great addition to the day's itinerary. And historically too it is amongst the biggest of cathedrals in this part of the continent. #russia #cathedral #summer #winter #vacation #trip
