Located near the Canton Tower, the Guangzhou Art Museum (New Pavilion) is currently offering free admission without reservation. The recent Chinese painting exhibition features 698 outstanding works from across the country, making it a perfect spot to check in and experience an artistic collision. Upon entering the hall, your eyes will inevitably be drawn to the dome, which resembles the framework of an oil-paper umbrella or the shape of a hot air balloon. It is a circular transparent photovoltaic glass that cleverly introduces natural light into the interior. As the sunlight shifts, the light and shadow cast into the exhibition hall form slowly moving, marvelous patterns. The first and second floors of the museum mainly display ancient calligraphy and paintings, while the third and fourth floors feature modern art masterpieces. The fifth floor houses sculpture works, offering a splendid array of exhibits!
