Hongyuan: Built in the 1930s, it is the product of the chess-style residential area movement promoted by the municipal authorities of Guangzhou in the early years of the Republic of China. The building faces southeast and is two stories high. The exterior wall of the ground floor is a red cold wall, and the double columns of the front door are made of stone. The building is designed in an American country style, with some details adopting traditional Chinese decorative patterns, which is unique in shape. It has certain value for the study of the history of architecture in Guangzhou. I was in a hurry, so I didn't take a close look.
