The beautiful scenery of Dongxiu Lake can be seen from the east gate. Even on a weekday, the park attracts many visitors. I climbed Yuexiu Mountain along the winding mountain road. The mountain is surrounded by lush greenery. This famous mountain has a long history and was a famous scenic spot in Guangzhou as early as the Qin and Han Dynasties. Along the way, you can enjoy the sights of Zhenhai Tower, the ancient city wall, the Rectangular Fort, the Sun Yat-sen Monument, and the Sun Yat-sen Reading and Governance Monument. The Five Rams Statue on the top of the mountain is a symbol of Guangzhou. To my surprise, I found an outdoor basketball court in the mountain. I played basketball with my friends from Guangzhou for an hour. They were very skilled and had great sportsmanship. The game was intense and friendly.
