Liuhua Lake Park Photography Guide

- Address: No. 100 Liuhua Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou - Admission: Free - Opening hours: 6:00–22:00 - Transportation: Exit B, Liuhua Station, Metro Line 11 Photography spots - White House: Enter through the north gate to reach the White House, where you can take a full frontal view. Stroll around the lake for more angles. In the afternoon, the building and its reflection in the sunset are stunning. - Furongzhou: Walk 100 meters to the right after entering the park to reach the classic photo frame spot, where you can take a photo that looks like you are "walking into the White House". The window frame inside is also a popular spot. Stand or sit in front of the window and take a photo with 2x zoom. Remember to include the entire frame in the photo. - Shady Path: Walk straight to the right after entering the park. The pavilion next to the path is a good place to see black swans. With the shade as the background, have the model stand or sit on the path and take a photo with 3x zoom for a poetic effect. - Cycad Garden: On the peninsula by the lake, you can take a photo with the White House at the iron fence. Take a full-body photo of the model from a high angle to make the legs look longer. Sitting on the stone and taking a photo with the White House is also a good idea. - Red Bridge and Sunflower Dike: The long dike in the center of Liuhua Lake is lined with palm trees on both sides. Stand on the bridge with your back or side to the lake and take a half-body photo with zoom to blend in with the lake view. - Frankfurt Rose Garden: Near the south gate, take a photo with blooming roses in the background. Gently touch the roses or spin around to capture a photo with a romantic French style. Photography tips - Time: 9–10 am is a good time to visit as there are fewer people and the lighting is good. 3–4 pm is also a good time for lighting, but there are more people. You can also enjoy a romantic sunset after 4 pm. - Outfit: Choose dark or European-style clothing to match the European architecture and garden landscape. For Chinese-style photos, go to Liuhua Xiyuan and wear Chinese-style clothing. - Photography techniques: Use tree trunks as the foreground to add layers to the photo. Use windows and railings as leading lines for composition. Take a silhouette or back photo under a big tree or in a pavilion for a charming effect.
