Even if you’re not seeing a performance, it’s worth coming just to admire the architecture and take some creative photos. The glass-and-granite exterior reflects the changing sky, and the building almost blends into the landscape around it. I attended a symphony concert there, and the acoustics were world-class — every note felt rich and immersive. Inside, the design is just as impressive, with modern yet elegant interiors that feel surprisingly warm. If you can, catch a show, but even if not, walking around the building and its nearby plaza is an experience in itself. It’s a bold statement of Guangzhou’s ambition to be a global cultural hub, and it absolutely delivers.
