Cherry Blossoms at Bomun Lake

Every year early April, the spring time in Gyeongju attracts tens of thousands of visitors both locals and foreigners as the city will have thousands of cherry blossom trees blooming. Bomun lake being one of the best spot to enjoy the blossoms will.be fully packed with visitors, but this does not stop tourists from flocking in to the city to snap great pictures. There are certain stretch where there are illuminatio s for visitors to enjoy night viewing of cherry blossoms as well. Tired visitors can also rest by some mart offering hot snacks like ramyeon or restaurants offering fried chicken and pancake with beers and rice wine, to cool oneself since weather is still chilly. The best time to visit is early April, but be sure to book the accomodation early as hotels are likely to be fully booked especially during the weekend.
