#summerdestinations I went there for a day during summer, and the experience was extraordinary. The emerald waters of Ha Long Bay, dotted with towering limestone karsts, created a mesmerizing backdrop. The boat trip allowed me to admire these natural wonders up close, with every turn revealing stunning, new vistas. I spent a lovely day in Ha Long Bay, I would recommend it.

Renowned as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we were ecstatic to finally be visiting the beautiful Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. Though we didn’t get to see the full extent of it’s beauty with blue skies and waters (we visited in December), it still made for a fascinating trip at this popular travel location. The bay features 1,600 limestone karst hills and isles, formed by the warm and wet tropical climate, that come in a range of different shapes and sizes. It was a spectacular sight as we travelled through these formations – most of which are uninhabited and unaffected by civilisation. πŸ“Ha Long Bay, Vietnam #leaveyourmark

Staying overnight on a junk boat is the best way to see Ha Long Bay, where they take you to all the different areas of the bay, and walk through cool bat caves as well!

This is the highlight of our Vietnam tour. The view was breathtakingly beautiful! It is worth a visit in your lifetime. Take the kayak ride with the local ladies, they are very tough women, able to take photos with one hand and control the kayak with the other! #GiveThanks
