Hengdaohezi in Mudanjiang really amazed me.

The history and culture of the Chinese Eastern Railway, the red culture of the Anti-Japanese United Army, the Russian style culture, the green ecological culture, and the culture of the Northeast Tiger. This small town with only more than 10,000 people actually concentrates so many tourism resources, which is really unknown. Hengdaohezi has 3 national 4A scenic spots - Northeast Tiger Forest Park, Russian Style Town, and Weihushan Film and Television City. The Chinese Eastern Railway has witnessed the vicissitudes of the Northeast for more than 100 years. Now it has become a distinctive tourist town. Museums, homestays, cafes, and historical buildings make people feel comfortable. Take a D train or high-speed train from Mudanjiang, and you can reach Hengdaohezi East Station in 19 minutes. It takes about ten minutes to take a taxi to the scenic spot. With Hengdaohezi East Station as the center, the Chinese Eastern Railway Locomotive Depot, Russian Style Town and the Church of the Assumption (Chinese Eastern Railway Museum) are in one direction, and the Northeast Tiger Forest Park, Weihushan Film and Television City and Qilidi Ecological Village are in another direction. I personally prefer the Russian Style Town and the Chinese Eastern Railway Museum, and I can recall the changes of the century while walking around.
