Jiaxing Shenxian Lake

Jiaxing Shenxian Lake, also known as Shenxian Lake Ecological Park, is located in Jiashan Village, Yuanhua Town, Haining City, Zhejiang Province. It covers a total area of 1,975 mu (approx. 325 acres), with a lake surface of 1,120 mu (approx. 185 acres) and a water storage capacity of 28.8 million cubic meters, equivalent to twice the water storage capacity of West Lake. - In 2011, Yuanhua Town in Haining City successively shut down the mines in Jiashan Village. Ecological restoration began in 2012, greening and upgrading were carried out in 2023, and infrastructure construction followed. The renovated Shenxian Lake fully opened to the public in September 2024. Natural Scenery - Twin Lakes Landscape: After years of restoration, the quarry has formed two large lakes, north and south. The first floor houses a cultural and creative product sales area, and the second floor is planned as a dining area. - Wooden Houses and Cloud Houses: Built by the lake, these uniquely designed houses complement the surrounding scenery, offering visitors a unique accommodation or leisure experience. - Lakeside Trail: The approximately 5 km lakeside trail is equipped with safety facilities such as railings along the river and cliffs, as well as lighting, information technology, and other management facilities.
