Cape Tachimachi

#getgoing2025 Located in the southeast of Mt. Hakodate, Cape Tachimachi is a view spot with a panoramic view of the Tsugaru Strait from a cliff about 30 metres above sea level. If it's sunny, you can also see the Tsugaru Peninsula and the Shimokita Peninsula in Aomori Prefecture. The area around the cape is maintained as a "Hamanasu Park", and it is also recommended to enjoy a walk. In summer, the good scent of hamanas envelops the whole thing. The monument to Cape Tachi, located in a corner of the park, is a popular photo spot for taking photos with the sea in the background. Your heart will tremble at the magnificent scenery of greenery spreading across the cape and the blue of the sea and sky. Please also enjoy the famous grilled shellfish at the "Shop Hamanasu", which is open only in the summer.
