Welcome to the micro world! This is the most unmissable museum in Hamburg, and we've put together a special guide for you. The doors to the miniature world are open to visitors 365 days a year. The tracks, trains, statues, buildings, and landscapes are all so detailed that visitors are left in awe. As of January 2011, the miniature world is divided into 7 themes: Harz Mountains, Alps, Austria, Hamburg, America, Scandinavia, and Switzerland. It's no wonder that Miniatur Wunderland is listed in the Guinness World Records as the world's largest model railway. The 15,000-meter-long track allows 15,000 carriages to reach their destinations. To achieve this, 5,000 houses and bridges, 250,000 trees, and 250,000 figurines were built to scale. Nearly 500,000 lights illuminate the miniature railway, leaving visitors with an unforgettable experience.
