🔥 Hangzhou is about to become the next hot spot‼️ The Grand Canal Hangzhou Steel Plant Relic Park is no stranger to the locals of Hangzhou, with a history of 60 years. This place will be transformed into a site that combines industrial relic sightseeing, culture, tourism, and commerce. 1️⃣ The park covers a large area Built on the foundation of the original Hangzhou Steel Plant, the construction is divided into two phases, with the first phase nearing completion. 2️⃣ Comprehensive entertainment complex From the layout, it will be developed into an art and creativity park, dining and shopping street, sports stadium, immersive experience center, and leisure park, among others. 3️⃣ Advantageous geographical location Located by the Grand Canal, next to Hangzhou Gaoting Mountain scenic area, it is surrounded by mountains and water. 4️⃣ Great for photography I only took some photos on the periphery, and once the inside is constructed, you can capture the industrial style (in fact, other styles are also designed but not yet completed). There are also large fields of flowers, big lawns, train tracks, and aerial corridors (lined with yellow chrysanthemums on both sides). 5️⃣ Great place for walking with kids Some people come here to walk with their kids now. There are few vehicles around, not many residential buildings, and the overall atmosphere is quiet with a beautiful environment of flowers and grass. 6️⃣ Other There is also a basement level, which I didn't enter, but it might be developed into a commercial area with dining and bars in the future. The blast furnace and coke oven inside will be accessible for tours once completed and will be turned into an industrial history museum. Once everything is completed, Hangzhou will have another hot spot~ Transportation: 🚇 Take Metro Line 4 to Wujiajiao Port Exit C, and you'll see it right away. ⚠️Tips: ❶ There are quite a few mosquitoes on the park's lawn, so remember to protect yourself against them when visiting. ❷ It is recommended to visit after 3 pm, as the park is currently only open outdoors and it can be a bit sunny. ❸ In the evening, many lights will be on, making it a beautiful sight. ❹ Next to it, the Grand Canal has a plastic running track, which is also quite comfortable to stroll on in the evening~ ❺ Currently, there are not many dining options in the surrounding area.
