A highland guarding Wuyue culture, a new cultural landmark in Lin'an!

The Wuyue Culture Museum is located at the foot of Gongchen Mountain in Lin'an, adjacent to the Lin'an Museum, and has the largest and most complete collection of secret color porcelain in China. The Wuyue Kingdom had a prosperous handicraft industry, a thriving shipbuilding industry, and booming overseas trade. Its silk, secret color porcelain, and gold and silverware were famous at home and abroad, and Wuyue became known as the "land of fish and rice" and the "capital of silk." The Wuyue Kingdom produced a large number of exquisite Yue kiln celadon, which was like ice and jade. Because of its loyalty, it was rewarded with fine white porcelain from the north, which is also evidence of the Wuyue Kingdom's "protection of the territory and the people." The white porcelain was like silver and snow, and most of them were engraved with "official" or new official marks, and gold and silver were added. A set of three celadon basins, spittoons, and bowls were used for washing. The basin was used for washing the face and hands, the bowl for rinsing the mouth, and the spittoon for receiving the mouthwash, and they were used together. The ceramic skin bag pot was a unique product of the Liao Dynasty, and the production of the secret color porcelain skin bag pot reflected the relationship between the Wuyue Kingdom and the Liao Kingdom. Most of the lacquerware of the Five Dynasties had the names of the craftsmen and workshops written in red on the bottom or inner and outer walls of the vessels, ending with "Shanglao," meaning superior and strong, which was a continuation of the "object and craftsman name" system.
