I took some unique photos of West Lake here 💚 Hidden West Lake activities Rainy days are never an excuse for me to avoid West Lake ☔️ On the contrary, I prefer the fresh air that comes with the misty rain over the lake 🍃 Avoid the crowds and discover a different side of West Lake 🌿 💖Opening hours: Open all year round 🎀Tickets: Free 🚎Public transport: Take bus 51, 52, 197, or 318 to Guozhuang Station; or take bus 27, 87, Y2 (Tour 2), or Y6 (Tour 6) to Maojiabu Station 🍀Travel tips: 1⃣Walking: The walking distance around Maojiabu Scenic Area is about 5 km, and it takes 2–3 hours to walk, stop, and take photos 2⃣Rowboat: Take a rowboat from Guozhuang Wharf to enjoy the beauty of the Jiangnan water town up close (❗️Remember to find a reliable boatman and confirm the route and duration) 3⃣West Lake cruise: You can take a cruise around West Lake, and you can get on and off the boat with your ticket. Get off at Maoxiangshuiqing 💚Green hills and forests Maojiabu is located next to Yang Gong Causeway in Xihu District, Hangzhou, and has Maoxiang Ancient Road, Tongli Ancient Bridge, Yujian Bridge, Wufeng Thatched Cottage, Zuibai Building, and Zhiqian Memorial Hall. The water is sometimes wide and sometimes narrow, with stone paths and shaded trails. The natural, rugged, and wild scenery is a perfect blend. 🧡Shangxiang Ancient Road In the mid-Qing Dynasty, pilgrims often took a boat to Maojiabu, and then walked along Shangxiang Ancient Road to the temples in Tianzhu to offer incense. It is wonderful to walk along the ancient road of Xiaomaojiabu! 💙Jiangnan rowboat Take a rowboat to explore the tranquility of Maojiabu, avoid the crowds, and enjoy the birds flying across the sky, the water lilies floating on the lake, and the white fish swimming with the waves.
