Hobart Convict Penitentiary

#australiatrip Excellent tour, we had purchased tickets in advance, but previous tour was running late, so we started 20 mins late. Having said that it was worth the wait. We toured the chapel, solitary cells, the tunnels underground, the gallows etc, all the while hearing fascinating stories of life in the Tench. One of The highlights for me is that at the end you can put your conviction ancestors name into the computer & it displays a “Likeness” as well as facts about the person.
