Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong

This was my first time in Hong Kong, and I chose to stay at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, the hotel that Leslie Cheung loved. My older son only knows his movie Farewell My Concubine, and my younger son is still in the stage of eating, sleeping, waking up, playing, getting tired, and eating again. But we came from that era, and we can really relate to him. I was so excited to see Leslie Cheung at the wax museum. The hotel is in a great location, in the financial center, surrounded by skyscrapers, facing the sea, with convenient transportation. There are many big brands downstairs, and the subway entrance is just a few steps away. Edinburgh Place is right across the street, and the Cenotaph is just a few minutes away. The Bank of China Tower is right in front of you. I would give the hotel a 9 out of 10, but because of Leslie Cheung and the quality of service, I would give it a 10. There is a Chinese-speaking front desk, so communication is not a problem, and there is no discrimination. Takeout can be delivered directly to the locker connected to the room, so you can get it directly from inside the room. The room is cleaned in a timely manner and to a high standard. The bed is comfortable and ensures a good night's sleep. The sea view king room has a great view and excellent service. The staff can speak Mandarin, English, and Cantonese, and most of them can speak Mandarin. There are no obstacles or delays, so I have to give them a thumbs up. 👍 Finally, there is an Easter egg, which was a surprise. The round sofa near the floor-to-ceiling window in the room is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee while looking out at the harbor. The best part is that it can be transformed into a single bed, which is about 2m x 1.2m and can accommodate an adult. The mechanism is under the sofa cushion, and you can figure it out with a little research. It's really useful.
