We chose the Mandarin Oriental. I thought it was an old hotel with old facilities, but I saw that the score on Trip.com was very high, so I thought it should not be bad and booked it. After arriving at the hotel, I was really surprised. I was afraid that my child would be bored waiting for check-in, so I sent Lego and chocolate first. Then I didn't know if there were fireworks on the first day, so I booked a sea view room and felt a pity. I mentioned it to the manager. I didn't expect that when he took us to see the room, he directly told us that we had been upgraded to a suite. Not only could we see the fireworks, but we also added a bed for free (because we saw that our two children were afraid of sleeping uncomfortably). I was really moved. The upgraded room is the hotel's leftover, but it did not charge an extra bed fee because of the Golden Week holiday. Generally, other hotels charge several hundred Hong Kong dollars. I want to give this hotel a ten-star experience and I will book it again when I come to Hong Kong next time.
